This bud’s for you, babe.

Official statement of being: In a fit of insomnia, I’ve decided to go ahead and indulge this little fantasy of maintaining a real blog. I hope you’ll humor me by checking back every once and awhile! Here, you’ll find the usual oblong brain droppings, photos + thoughts for friends who have now uprooted and settled down elsewhere, the occasional concert review, the even more occasional book review, random composition- or art-related discussion… anything, really.  

Hey kids! Let’s face it: we’re spreading out all over the internet, and while we can make small talk on twitter, or go hang out in the ghetto that is MySpace, or at least pretend to be friends on facebook, I think it’s time to take this relationship to the next level. So I’m reserving this space to publish relevant things to say. I hereby promise not to post only when there’s something to complain about, which would be all too easy here in St. Louis. For some of you who are now relocated, I hope this thing helps to bring you back a slice of home, most likely thin-crust and cut into annoying little squares :)

In the meantime, have a good night! I’m spent, finally tired and hungry for nature’s second course. It’s going to be a busy week with lots of rehearsals + an audition. Dobranoc!
